What is money? why do people kill for it? why die for it?</div> <bR> <div> What is it that drives us humans to the brink of destruction? </div> <bR> <div> An amazing girl i know  (Zaneeta), came up with something that she had read and thought about and made sense out of,  and it made me think, at 2 am in the morning i might add!he he It was about what money really is.</div> <bR> <bR> <div> Here is a brief Xplanation of what money really is...</div> <bR> <div> In the olden days before money was invented people used to trade, so for example i would build you a table and you would give me a loaf or 2 of bread. It all was done on what our profession was, and we helped each other out. </div> <bR> <div> Now say i had built you a table and I am waiting for my bread, but you dont have the resources too make me the bread right now, you would write me a note saying that you owed me 2 loafs of bread. Now obviously it is in mankinds nature to lie and decieve, so you could easily turn around and say I dont owe you anything and I would not have proof.</div> <bR> <div> This is where banks come in, as now the note that you have written to me is written by the bank on behalf of you. And the bank is the witness that a trade has taken place and you owe me something in return. Now the bank has granted me permission to use that note on any other form of trade, so i could go out and get a pair of slippers! and since i have used that note, you dont have to make that bread. And this is what has happened. Coins and notes appeared different currencies in different worlds, and obviously the banks themselves need something in return, so interest rates were introduced etc.</div> <bR> <div> There is also the question of GOLD and other precious gems, which people used to trade, a slab of gold for you to build me a house, now i cant carry around slabs of gold, so i go to the bank and they store it for me and give me money instead. NOW WHO IS DOING WHO? isnt it true that the people who run these banks are thieves? </div> <bR> <div> If everysingle person in the world right now suddenly had a brainwave and thought, "lets all go out and take all the money we have out the bank so we can keep all our money gold gems etc in our homes" the whole bank network will colapse as they PHYSICALLY (he he) do not have the resources to do this as they have used all our hard earned money for other "investments" not to mention their brand new porshe or ferrari.....</div> <bR> <div> Ironically, the more money you have the more you owe the bank. AS IT IS A FACT that we do not own our money. The bank does. </div> <bR> <div> As Michael has pointed out in his song money, you would kill for it die for it lie for it.
